“Mainstreaming SDG’s and Paris Treaty Concerns in Universities of UAE”

Thursday, 9th March, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm

Globally, Higher Education is set to play a major role in promoting both Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate treaty, both of which have been endorsed by the UAE. There is a close correlation between many of the SDGs and the Paris Climate treaty.

This one day Mentor Conference that is being organized as a part of the Sustainable Campus Initiative, commemorating the World Water day, would examine efforts taken so far and set a future road map for mainstreaming these concerns at our Universities and Campuses.

A call for abstracts was done in January and 8 papers by educators have been chosen to present. These participants will be presenting in a separate simultaneous session will be organized for students on specifically chosen SDGs which are directly related to Sustainable Campus initiative and are in line with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.
